Another pack from the Band of Outsider for Sperry Topsider Spring/Summer 2010 Collection has been released. This time the 3-Eye Boet Shoe and the Chukka come with a grey/black checker upper and contrasting lining. The boat shoe comes with black leather laces and the Chukka with white leather laces. The next release in the Vault by Vans and Major League Baseball Opening Day Collection is an Oakland Athletics Chukka LX. Just 12 pairs of the Oakland sneaker were produced and will be available Monday, April 5 at 11 am only at Bows & Arrows in Berkeley. Again, a matching Majestic Authentic Jersey will also be on sale. The Oakland Athletics play host to the Seattle Mariners that evening in the home opener for Oakland.

After showing you the MLB Red Sox Authentic LX the other day, we can preview today the Vans Vault x MLB Chicago White Sox Chukka LX, as part of the Opening Day Collection. Vans Vault has created a sneaker for selected stores, each releasing their hometown team over the next couple of weeks. Only 12 pairs of the Chicago Sox Chukka LX with matching jerseys will go on sale on April 5th at St. Alfred in Chicago. Stay tuned for more team sneakers to be announced soon.

These came over the wire today and again, another great collaboration from our friends over at Converse. They paired up with Ryusaku Hiruma also know as sak (meant to be spelled in lower case) for his interpretation of a Converse shoe. Hiruma carefully replicates the silhouette of the Chuck Taylor All Star, Jack Purcell and One Star shoes using old-world construction techniques.
“Truly works of art, these crafted masterpieces are produced in collaboration as a part of the Converse First String program, the brand’s most premium tier and only 64 pairs in each style will be available worldwide.”
In the United States, these will be sold exclusively to Opening Ceremony and Concepts.
