iCup Provides a Cup of Hot Drink Anytime, Anywhere

iCup is an innovative concept specially designed for Apple that can heat up any drink inside the cup by connecting it with the user’s notebook, as well as any device that supports USB connection, via a USB cable anywhere. The key goal of the project is to ease life with more manageable features that ensure uninterrupted working opportunity,doesn’t matter the user goes to the park, library or working in the office. The featured Apple logo of the cup is actually a heat indicator that shows the temperature of the inside content, blue for cool, orange for warm and pink for hot, while enhancing the aesthetics. Moreover, it incorporates a irreplaceable handle that offers convenient fit into any small area and the changeable upper portion allows easy washing.

Water Cube Pavilion

Designed for the World Expo 2012 to be held in Yeosu, Korea, the “Water Cube Pavilion” from MVRDV depicts the power and beauty of oceans, for the pure visible water block design looks as if extracted straight from the sea. Based on the theme of “The Living Ocean and Coast,” the Water Cube features the facade finished in four layers of glass, which is filled with water pumped from the sea to maintain the flow throughout the structure. Using natural light to illuminate the interior during daytime, the structure creates water space to surround the visitors with water. While on the other hand UV penetration and solar cells on outer skin generate renewable energy to light the structure at night.

The surrounding wall also features a number of water basins that resembles different seas, oceans and continents portrayed on the world map. Resting the roof on 5-meter tall beams, spanning from the supporting web to the North Pole, i.e. the center of the roof, the facade of the building integrate elements to control the temperature of the basins as well.

The Fourth Kind dvd rip

Watched this last night..gave me an uneasy sleep since it's based on a true story and I can see why the government didn't let this movie become popular. As far as my belief in this goes anything can happen and if the government covers something up usually makes it some truth to it. Kind of too far away for my mind to grasp...but I can see how they could have some truth to it. You should give it a watch and let me know what you think...it's a very good and interesting watch. Something to broaden your horizons to say the least.
