ASUS has unveiled its Eee Tablet at Computex 2010. Eee Tablet is more like a digital notepad or an ebook reader than a tablet PC. Its remarkable 2450 dpi Touchscreen makes it one of the best note taking device currently available.
The Eee tablet turns pages at 0.1 second refresh rate as it uses a reflective LCD display instead of the E Ink display by Kindle or Nook. Eee Tablet features a 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, microSD slot and a USB port. Other specs are not yet known.
The device is much targeted towards students and professionals who want to use the device in lectures or meetings to make notes.
Though ASUS has not given the official price details of Eee tablet, it is expected to be priced between $199 and $299 and will release in September this year
